Can I work in Greece?

A residence permit never grants any type of employment qualification. According to Article 20, paragraph 6, of Law No. 4251/2014, employment does not include economic activities carried out by shareholders or chief executive officers. Family members who have obtained a residence permit (which is valid for the same period as the sponsor's residence permit) are also not allowed to enter the job market. Although you cannot work as an employee, you can set up a company and manage the company as the company's share holder.
