What are the arrangements for access to education and medical services? Can children of residence permit holders attend Greek public schools?

Holders of residence permits enjoy a public education similar to that of Greeks. Regarding access to medical services, citizens of third countries and their family members subject to the current law must purchase insurance that can cover their medical care and medical care costs. The following documents can be submitted to prove that this condition has been met: an insurance contract signed outside Greece, provided that such contract clearly states that the coverage includes the period of stay of the applicant in Greece.
