Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area

(I) Jurisdiction

Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area is located in Pingtung County and covers three townships, including Ryukyu, forest edge and Donggang, including Dapeng Bay and Ryukyu Scenic Area. Among them, the land area is 1342.23 hectares, the water area is 532.1 hectares, and the sea area is 891.9 ha. 2,764 hectares. The jurisdiction covers the territory of Donggang Town, Pingtung County, Linbian Township and Ryukyu Township. This scenic area has rich natural and human landscapes such as lagoons, mangroves and coral reef coasts. It has a high-quality eco-tourism environment and diversified water recreation activities. It is a marine leisure resort with natural landscapes such as blue sea, blue sky and ecology.

With green ecology combined with rich and diverse land and water recreational activities, combined with land and sea activities, the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area has been developed into a water-level tourist resort with international standards.

Facing the natural ecological landscape of Kenting National Park to the south, Sizhongxi Hot Spring and the historical and cultural sites of Hengchun Ancient City, it will create a tropical coastline for Taiwan.
