According to a report on the website of “Pakistan Observer” on September 5, Pakistan has for the first time set up a National Pavilion at the “China International Fair for Trade in Services”.
According to the report, the 2022 Services Trade Fair has seen a boom in business for these Pakistani traders. "How about this necklace? It's even more beautiful than the previous one. Yes, they all come from Pakistan! Great quality!" A Chinese buyer stands in front of a Pakistani jewellery stall, video calling with his wife and taking pictures on his mobile phone of the glittering gems on the stand.
According to reports, Pakistani jeweler Akil Ahmed Chowdhury said: "This is my first time to attend the Service Trade Fair. We want to know more about the Beijing market." The company's brand first entered China in Shanghai, and now it is targeting Beijing next.

"Our design is specifically tailored to Chinese customers and they love it" he said.
Similarly, Mr Chaudhry, who has lived in China for more than 10 years, knows his way around doing business in China. "We are working with e-commerce giants in China. Digital payments are the future of payments in China." he said.
"There are many countries coming to this trade fair to showcase their most influential products and services," Chaudhury said. It's a good opportunity to explore more in the Chinese market."
