To Serve the "China-Pakistan Economic Corridor" Cultivate Talents with Agricultural Machinery Technical Skills

Xinhua Net Tianjin July 29 (Zhang Bo), On 28th, "Tianjin Modern Vocational and Technical College" and "Pakistan MNS Agricultural University of Multan" held the cloud signing ceremony of "Pakistan Luban Workshop Agricultural Machinery Training Project".  Kang Ning, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin Modern Vocational and Technical College, and Professor Ali, President of Pakistan Multan MNS Agricultural University, both sides representatives signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Shi Yanpeng, general manager of Tianjin Tailai Import and Export Co., LTD., representative of member units of the Production-Education Collaborative Education Alliance of Pakistan Luban Workshop, said that, as a member of Pakistan Luban Workshop industry-education Collaborative Education Alliance and a bridge for school-enterprise cooperation between Chinese and Pakistani education institutions and Chinese and Pakistani enterprises, it will actively provide the implementation of Pakistan Luban Workshop with enterprise training demand information, online and offline enterprise staff technical training organization, school-enterprise cooperation and development of training resources and others guarantees.

It is understood that Multan MNS Agricultural University is an undergraduate college approved by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, which has cultivated a large number of outstanding talents for the academic, industrial and agricultural sectors of Pakistan, and promoted the development of agriculture in Pakistan.  The University, together with Tianjin Modern Vocational and Technical College, will actively play the role of vocational training in Pakistan Luban Workshop, promote international vocational education cooperation, serve the international production capacity cooperation in agriculture, and help improve the level of agricultural mechanization in Pakistan.

Kang Ning, secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin Modern Vocational and Technical College, said that, Pakistan Luban Workshop has created a construction layout of "one province, two workshops with dual functions", and established two Luban workshops in Lahore, capital of Punjab province, and the agricultural city of Ultan, to continue to promote "academic education + vocational training", deepen the cooperation in vocational education between China and Pakistan, and serve the training of technical and skilled personnel in the "China-Pakistan Economic Corridor". According to the next stage of agricultural automation development demand plan of Pakistan, Pakistan Luban Workshop will explore and develop whole-process mechanization vocational skills training for 1-2 crops, and provide high-quality vocational skills training under the mode of international industry-education cooperation for Pakistani technical youth.

At the signing ceremony, also carried out "Tianjin Modern Vocational and Technical College" and "Tianjin Tai Lai Import and Export Co., LTD." school-enterprise cooperation award and "Pakistan Luban workshop" honorary consultant appointment ceremony.  Since the Pakistan Luban Workshop was launched in July 2018, Tianjin Modern Vocational and Technical College has continued to promote the operation and construction of the Luban Workshop, it has completed 3,200 class hours of teaching in Lahore, the capital of Punjab Province, 95 Pakistani technical young people participated in the electrical automation and mechatronomic integration professional courses of Luban Workshop, among them, 27 young Pakistanis have obtained diplomas from Tianjin Modern Vocational and Technical College, and the Luban Workshop curriculum has been incorporated into the G3 curriculum system of vocational training in Punjab Province.  (End)
