Dominica is building a new 7MW geothermal power plant that will provide clean energy for almost all of the island's population.It will diversify Dominica's energy mix, more than half of which comes from renewable sources, with potential for future exports.So far, funding has come from the European Union, the United Kingdom, the world bank, the Caribbean development bank, the Clinton climate initiative, the inter-american development bank and the Dominican republic's investment migration program.
